Bloggers NEEDED

The Winnemac Park Neighbors blog you are viewing needs bloggers to post neighborhood content.  Content should relate to neighbors that live in and frequent the Winnemac Park area roughly Ashland to Western and Lawrence to Foster (including Bowmanville and Giddings Square events). Content subject matter should make geographic and logistical sense (i.e. walkable 10-15 mins from Winnemac Park).

Post about new area services, art, your garden, new business, special retail sales, neighborhood people to know, garage sales, kids stuff, school meetings, pictures in the park, sports, recreation, block parties and government news affecting our immediate area. Please be factual and post a photo with the content whenever possible.

Winnemac Park Neighbors administrators collectively monitor content and can pull any postings that are deemed inappropriate at any time. Collectively, our administrators help to maintain neutral, non-political and factual content in a positive light.

Promote this great neighborhood with the only neighbor volunteer blog dedicated to the Lincoln Square/ Ravenswood neighborhood near Winnemac Park.  Business owners and proud neighbors are encouraged to post or send fun and informational content for our neighbors!  Our blog updates are sent to a large, dedicated list of neighbors and turn up on searches for the area.

Post once a day, once a week or once a month!  Contact info@winnemac.org to become a blog administrator or to send a complete blog post with photos so they may be posted by WPN time permitting.

The group of about 15 neighbors and community leaders had a great talk at Dolce Casa Cafe on Damen surrounding the local developments, solutions for trash pick-up in Winnemac Park and business and community services offered by the revamped RCC.

Some real solutions to the Park trash pick-up are in the works.  Please email info@winnemac.org to get involved at Winnemac Park.  A large neighbors group is working towards enhancing programs, events and care of the park.

Thanks for all the collaboration! Look for next meeting in late September co-hosted by Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce.
